Pazo das Bruxas, Spain (Albarino) VND 200,000
A light weight wine in both alcohol (12% abv) and color (clear, pale straw yellow), this is a lively and lovely Albariño. It is so aromatic. Aromas of white flowers, citrus, minerals, and crushed gravel waft out of the glass and wrap you in their perfume.
Very dry, balanced, with lovely acid and something of a short finish, the flavors are classic Rías Baixas Albariño. Saline and minerals on the attack with the bright, happy flavors of grapefruit pith and citrus zest on the mid palate.
Pinho Real, Vinho Verde, Portugal - VND 160,000
This wine displays a lovely citrine colour. On the palate young, fresh, slighlty feminine, elegant and perfect acidity. Elegant and fruity aromas on the nose.
Guigal, Cote du Rhone, France (Viognier)
Yellow gold, clear and brilliant. Freshness on the nose is marked by the distinctive aromas of Viognier: white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. The palate is fruity with plenty of richness and body. Overall, a well rounded wine with elegance, strength and balance.
Feral Fox, D'Arenburg, Adelaide Hills, Australia (Pinot Noir) VND 240,000
Fabulous! This wine sings in the glass. Gently poached strawberry compote with twists of maraschino cherry. Given time in the glass will leave you wanting more. As it opens the palate offers touches of truffle, spice and forest floor adding layers of serious complexity. A bright acid backbone is a guarantee that this wine will develop with attitude and grace.
Banfi, Cum Laude, Toscana, Italy - VND 300,000 (One of our favourites!)
A captivating Supertuscan that joins the four red varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah), selected as the best in the history of Banfi for their vineyards in Montalcino. On the nose the scent is characterized by hints of red fruits with intense cherry tones, accompanied by spicy notes of licorice and pepper. Broad structure, with sweet and powerful tannins, very balanced with a persistent finish.
La Gaffeliere, Saint Emilion, France (Cab Sav, Merlot) - VND 200,000
